Our hard chrome piston rods are manufactured using high-quality JIS S45C steel, ensuring superior durability and performance. The production process involves precision machining followed by surface chromium treatment, resulting in a surface finish of f7 and a hardness of at least HV800. This not only enhances wear resistance but also significantly extends the service life of the rod, helping customers reduce long-term costs.
The corrosion resistance of our products is tested in an internal salt spray laboratory. The surface undergoes heat treatment to achieve a hardness of HRC55°±2°, with a hardened depth ranging from 0.5mm to 3mm. After this, the rods are precision-machined and coated with a hard chrome layer of 20 microns ±10%, further improving their wear resistance and longevity.
1. **Chrome Plated Steel Bars**
These bars are made from medium carbon cold-finished or hot-rolled steel, typically grades like 1045. They are centerless ground, polished, and chrome-plated with a minimum thickness of 0.0005" on each side. These are ideal for most hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder applications.
2. **Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Bars**
Produced using advanced techniques on materials such as JIS S45C, SAE1045, or DIN CK45, these bars go through surface removal, polishing, induction hardening, and then hard chrome plating. The result is a strong, impact-resistant bar suitable for demanding environments.
3. **Cold Drawn Seamless Mechanical Tubing (CDS)**
This is a cold-drawn 1020 steel tube that offers better dimensional accuracy, enhanced machinability, and higher strength compared to hot-rolled alternatives. It's widely used in hydraulic cylinders, automotive parts, heavy machinery, and more.
