Nationwide Boiler Participates in Annual Pathway Conference with Student Tours of Facility

This past week, Nationwide Boiler Inc. extended an invitation to Washougal High School students, opening the doors of their Controls Division, Nationwide Control Solutions, located in Washougal, Washington. It was an exciting day for both the students and the team at Nationwide as they hosted three separate groups for guided tours of their panel fabrication facility. These visits were part of a broader initiative coordinated by Washougal High School, known as the Annual Pathway Conference. This event serves as a career fair-like experience for students in the Career & Technical Education (CTE) program, offering them insights into potential post-graduation career paths in local trades. The ultimate aim of the CTE program is to boost graduation rates and ready students for the workforce by aligning their studies with their career aspirations and teaching essential workplace skills.

The tours commenced with an overview of Nationwide Boiler Inc.'s extensive product range, which includes temporary rental boilers, new and used boilers for sale, emissions control equipment, and the primary focus of the visit—combustion control systems and fuel supply skids. Afterward, students got hands-on experience exploring the panel shop, witnessing electrical wiring, factory acceptance testing, and equipment fabrication processes in action. Among the equipment showcased were a brand-new motor control center (MCC) panel destined for a rental boiler, a urea supply skid for a CataStak™ SCR system, multiple Eagle combustion control panels, and various fuel supply skids. To wrap up, participants received some promotional items as souvenirs, along with a deeper understanding of control systems and the boiler industry.
