I just got some updates from Bill Friedrich about the new Darien-Woodridge ambulances. The Darien-Woodridge Fire Protection District has finally received their two brand-new Ford F450 Medtec ambulances. These state-of-the-art vehicles, designated as Medic 89 and 90, are scheduled to hit the road by Christmas. Each of these rigs carries Pierce job numbers 25633-01 and 02 respectively.
It’s exciting to see these new additions to the fleet. I’ve attached some photos below so you can get a better look at them. The first image gives you a front view of both units, showcasing their sleek design and modern features. The second photo offers a rear perspective, highlighting the practical layout and equipment integration. You’ll also find individual shots of each ambulance, Medic 89 and Medic 90, giving you a detailed glimpse into their setup.
