Tektronix has announced the launch of Gold Care Plans for medium-to-high-end test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, designed to provide customers with no worries about the purchase experience. The Gold Protection Plan enhances Tektronix' current support service offerings, providing priority for services such as standby machines with the same capabilities, scheduled calibrations signed by the manufacturer, and prioritized access to technical support.

In the face of a slow recovery of economic conditions, companies are reducing spare products to reduce capital expenditures. However, increased competition and shorter market cycles have made stoppages unbearable. Similarly, fast-response technical support is also crucial to maximizing productivity, and the design team must do more with less. Tektronix's gold protection plan is the industry's first response to these development needs.
