One of the most noticeable features of a vehicle with power steering is how light the steering wheel feels. Without this system, the steering would be stiff and difficult to turn, especially when driving straight. However, the difference becomes clear when you make a turn, particularly in heavier vehicles. With power steering, also known as EPS (Electric Power Steering), the assistance level changes based on speed. At higher speeds, like 160 km/h, the steering becomes firmer, giving you more control and stability. This makes it easier to keep the car going straight without constant adjustments. On the other hand, at lower speeds, such as when parking or maneuvering in tight spaces, the steering wheel feels much lighter, making it easier to turn with just one hand. This adaptive feature ensures that the driver has the right amount of assistance at all times, improving both comfort and safety.
