Series resonant test equipment failure and solution

1. The host cannot find the resonance point.

Cause: The system resonance point is outside the output frequency range of the host; the system wiring is wrong; the system is not reliably grounded; the high-voltage sampling feedback signal is open or unreliable; the sample is faulty.

Method of exclusion:

1) Check that the grounding device is reliable and that the grounding cable has a breaking point;

2) Check the continuity of the high and low voltage coils of the excitation transformer;

3) Check the continuity of each reactor;

4) Check the on/off of the signal line of the voltage divider;

5) Check the on and off of the high and low voltage capacitor arms of the voltage divider;

6) There is no resonance point when the device itself boosts, and it is also necessary to check the on and off of the compensation capacitor;

2. Host reset.

Cause: The power supply of the host is fluctuating; the external strong magnetic field interferes; the host is not reliably grounded;

3. The Q value is low, that is, the voltage does not rise, or the rise is not high.

phenomenon:

1) The tuning curve is a curve with a lower peak;

2) During the test, the primary voltage is higher, but the high voltage is lower. Even when the test voltage is not raised, the primary voltage has reached the rated voltage, and the loop is automatically stepped down;

the reason:

1) The reactor does not match the capacitance of the sample, and the resonance point is not accurately found;

2) The sample loss is high and the system Q value is too low;

3) The high voltage output voltage of the excitation transformer is low;

4) The high voltage cable is too long or does not use high voltage stun line

Method of exclusion:

1) The compensation capacitor is connected to the test circuit to increase the circuit capacity;

2) Connect as many reactors as possible to increase the loop inductance;

3) increase the output voltage of the excitation transformer;

4) Drying the test article to improve the insulation strength of the test article and reduce the active loss of the circuit;

5) Generally, when the device is outputting a higher voltage, use a high-voltage stun line, or change the ordinary high-voltage output line to a shorter connection, generally no more than 5 meters.

4. The power supply trips.
