1. The pump delivers various media smoothly without any disturbance or pulsation. The liquid is pumped through the working elements as a sealing liquid, ensuring reliable performance. All pumps have high self-priming capability and can handle liquids mixed with gas or air.
2. High suction performance, i.e., very low NPSHr, is guaranteed by the special design of the pump.
3. External bearings are used and lubricated individually, allowing the pump to deliver various non-lubricating media.
4. Synchronous gears are adopted, so there is no metallic contact between rotating parts, making it safe even in case of dry running for a short period.
5. Various constructions are available, such as horizontal, vertical, and casing with liner. The pump can handle clean liquids without solid particles, low or high viscosity media, and even some corrosive media with proper material selection.

W.V Bornemann twin screw pump has three main constructions: Z, ZK, and Zi.
Z - Long shaft design with packing seal; double end seal or metal seal required for temperatures above 150-200°C.
ZK - Short shaft design with mechanical seal; suitable for temperatures below 120°C.
Zi - Internal bearing design with mechanical seal; suitable for temperatures below 80°C, used only for lubricant media.
Welded pumps can handle high-temperature media up to 280°C.
