Which industries are most suitable for refrigerated dryers?

Before we think about this, we need to understand the compressed air quality needs of each industry. In fact, as long as it is used in pneumatic equipment and pneumatic components, the drying of the freeze dryer alone cannot eliminate liquid water.

However, since the refrigerating dryer is a compressed air drying device which is very cheap and easy to operate, for many small businesses, the construction of the initial air compressor station only needs to be equipped with a refrigerating dryer to maintain.

If your pneumatic components have more pneumatic equipment and the production process requires no water, then the drying treatment of the freezer dryer alone will not meet the production requirements.

Based on this consideration, we will analyze some of the most suitable conditions for using the refrigerating dryer.

1. Mechanical parts are purged and conveyed

In the use of compressed air, the purge gas actually accounts for a large part of the specific gravity. When purging the rough mechanical parts, some water in the compressed air does not have much problem;

If purging precision equipment such as PCBs and electronic components, water in the compressed air will contaminate the raw materials and damage the process;

Therefore, in almost all rough blowing operations, a refrigerating dryer can be used alone as a drying device.

2. Sandblasting gas

Sandblasting relies on the injection of gravel to treat the surface of the workpiece. In this process, the compressed air is used as the power to spray the gravel out, and the surface of the workpiece is not affected by the appearance of liquid water;

A process similar to sand blasting can use a refrigerating dryer alone as a drying device, provided that the sprayed material is not afraid of water and the processed article is not afraid of water.

3. Some materials are mixed with gas

In the gas for the mixing of raw materials for food and medicine, liquid water is generally not available because water can cause rust and bacteria in the pipeline;

However, in some rough material mixing operations, there is no need to worry about liquid water in the compressed air, such as the flocculation process of industrial wastewater treatment, the mixing operation of floor paint, etc.;

This kind of rough mixing operation, liquid water will not have much impact on production.

4. Solid material transportation

The transportation of waste generally does not care whether there is water in the compressed air. The transport of the gravel mentioned above also does not care whether there is water, but if the material is in powder form, the water will deposit the material in the pipeline. Blockages, such as coal ash transport from power plants, cannot be dried separately using a refrigerated dryer.

In general, the working conditions of the refrigerating dryers can be used alone, and there are still a lot of them. After all, the precision work and sterility work in the industry are relatively few; when planning the air compressor system, it is necessary to refer to the compressed air quality standard. And the manufacturer's suggestion, the sloppy decision will not be tried.

We have been in contact with a PCB factory in the northeast, with a gas consumption of more than 100 cubic meters per minute. They used a refrigerated dryer designed by the air compressor station several years ago to dry it separately. In the past few years, the back end has been more or less water. However, it did not affect production.
