This just happened earlier today in South Barrington, and I wanted to share what I saw. Barrington firefighters were on the scene at 4 Terra Vita Court around the early afternoon, and they had some help from neighboring departments to get things under control.
As my friend Tyler Tobolt reported, it was quite a scene with a second-alarm structure fire at that address. The flames were intense, and you could see the smoke rising high above the neighborhood. It’s always tough to see something like this happen, especially when it involves homes, but the quick response of the firefighters made a big difference.

It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is for communities to come together, especially when first responders are working hard to protect our homes and families. Thankfully, no one appeared to be hurt, but the damage looks extensive based on these images. Let’s hope everyone affected can recover soon.
