High Weir Double Spiral Classifier / Screw Classifier:
The High Weir Spiral Classifier is widely used in the metal ore selection process for grading ore slurry by size. It can also be used to remove mud and dehydrate during ore washing, often forming a closed circuit together with the ball mill.
Double Spiral Classifier Working Principle
The grinded pulp is fed into the tank from the inlet in the middle of the settlement region, and the slurry classification sedimentation area is under the inclined tank. The spiral with low speed rotation stirs the slurry, so that the fine particles rise, and the coarse particles sink to the bottom of the tank. Overflow weir is above the bearing center which is under the screw shaft, and is underneath the overflow end.
Features and Advantages of Concentrating Spiral Classifier / Screw Classifier
1). Simple structure, reliable operation, and easy to use.
2). It mechanically classifies through the mechanism of different sedimentation speeds of solid particles in liquid due to different sizes and specific gravity.
3). It can classify the ground material powder from the grinder, spiral the coarse grain back into the material inlet of the grinder through the spiral chip, and discharge the classified fine grain from the overflow surface.
4). Its base is made from channel steel, and its body is welded from steel plate.
5). The lower support of the spiral bearing is of an engine-bearing structure with good wear resistance and durability.
6). The lifting device is available in electric and manual modes.
