1The scale and elimination of the cooling system Because the groundwater contains high hardness of calcium and magnesium ions (the total hardness is 8.5mmol/L or more), the precipitation of salt impurities adheres to the scale on the metal heating surface, which makes the temperature of the compressed air in the body rise. It affects the safe operation of the air compressor. The intercooler core and the aftercooler core are often blocked by scale, and the cooler core has to be replaced for up to two months. In order to reduce the formation of calcium and magnesium ions in the cooling water and slow down the formation of scale in the cooling system, effective measures are required.

Eight air compressors are distributed in three mines. If a sodium ion exchanger is installed in each mine, the cost is too high and another method must be found.

First, the formed scale is removed by pickling. That is to use 10% acid pickling solution with concentrated hydrochloric acid, add 0.20% multi-purpose compound pickling inhibitor Lan-826, put it in a homemade container, and use an acid-proof pump to drive into the air compressor body, wait for several When the return pipe has the cleaning liquid flowing out, close the valve, stop the pump, start the air compressor, and the standby body is slightly hot (about 50 ~ 60 °C), stop, suffocate for about 4h, open the return pipe and connect the upper pipe to the water pipe. On the top, rinse with tap water for 10 minutes, open the cylinder head and find that the body has exposed its natural color (red paint), and the copper tube in the intercooler core and the aftercooler core has exposed copper.

Secondly, the scale water is treated with scale inhibition. Because of the high hardness of calcium and magnesium in the water and suspended solids, it is first treated with polycarboxylic acid scale inhibition method, using hydrolyzed polymaleic anhydride (HPMA), due to the acidity of HPMA. For the substance, adjust the pH of the circulating water to 9.0 with Na 3 PO 4 , then add HPMA at 5 mg/L, and check the scale inhibition effect after running for several months.
