The 50,000-ton/year high-grade carbon black production line of Nippon Steel (Jiangsu) Carbon Black Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned company established by Japan's Shin-Nippon Carbon Co., Ltd., is expected to start production in August 2014. The company was established in June 2013 and is located in Zhangzhou Economic Development Zone, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. The factory covers an area of ​​62,500 square meters and a total investment of 260 million yuan. It is reported that the design of the production plant was contracted by the Carbon Black Industrial Research and Design Institute. Japan's Shin-Nippon Carbon Co., Ltd. is a small-scale carbon black company with a factory located in Tahara, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and has an annual production capacity of 73,000 tons of carbon black.
