In 2007, the output of commercial vehicles ranks No. 2 among the top ten countries in China

In 2007, according to data collected by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the World Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the top ten countries in commercial vehicle production were the United States, China, Japan, Canada, Thailand, Mexico, Spain, India, Brazil, and Germany. Notably, the rankings of the top seven nations remained unchanged from the previous year. However, India surpassed Brazil to take the eighth position, while Germany moved into the tenth spot, replacing South Korea. Together, these ten countries accounted for a significant portion of global commercial vehicle production. The total output from these nations reached 16,441,300 units, representing 81.96% of the world’s total commercial vehicle production that year. This highlights the continued dominance of these countries in the global commercial vehicle manufacturing sector. The stability in the top seven positions reflects the strong industrial bases and consistent production capabilities of these nations. Meanwhile, the shifting positions of India and Germany indicate growing competition and evolving market dynamics within the industry. As emerging economies like India continue to expand their manufacturing sectors, their influence on the global automotive landscape is expected to grow further in the coming years.
