Chicago 2-11 Alarm fire at 2917 W. Irving Park Road 3-10-14

Chicago companies reported a working fire at 2917 W. Irving Park Road just before 3 AM this morning. The structure involved was a single-story, 100 by 150-foot ordinary building with a truss roof. Upon arrival, the initial alarm was upgraded to a Box Alarm, and 20 minutes later, a 2-11 was called in to supplement the response. Firefighters arrived on scene quickly, and crews were seen working to contain the flames. The location is known for its residential and commercial activity, and the incident has drawn attention from local residents and media.
