I was at the fire in Elmhurst on Thursday afternoon. The fire was in a one-story commercial building that housed a bridal shop. When we arrived, the fire was already heavy, and within minutes, we had to request a box alarm. Several elevated master streams were being used from both the Elmhurst tower ladders, Bensenville’s tower, and Addison’s quint. I got there about an hour into the incident.
