Cummins wins the "America's Fighting Company" Award


The authoritative media for the global diesel industry, the US "Diesel Progress" magazine, recently announced that Cummins was named 2007 "Newsmaker of The Year". This is the second time that Cummins has won this honor in five years.

The "Emergency Diesel" magazine's annual Enterprise Award was awarded to the most influential companies, individuals, new products, new technologies, and major events and changes in the market and industry of the diesel engine industry.

According to the article published in the "Diesel Progress" year-end special issue published in December 2007, three major technological advances made by Cummins in 2007 made Cummins stand out in many industry companies: First, the release of the new 6.7-liter "top" pickup truck. Turbocharged diesel engine, the first to meet the world's most stringent US Federal Environmental Protection Agency's EPA 2010 NOx and particulate emissions regulations (equivalent to more than Europe VI), can be rated as the world's lowest emissions of heavy pickup engines; second is the publication of emissions for the US EPA 2010 Standard new generation of medium and heavy-duty highway engine product series and technical route; third is to announce the comprehensive technical strategy for the fourth phase of transitional emission standards for European and American non-highway mobile equipment to be implemented in 2011.
