The LC600/825 pump is widely used in coal-fired power units within the desulfurization absorption tower system. It has undergone rigorous testing by the National Industrial Pump Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and its performance meets or exceeds that of imported counterparts. In practical operation, the pump demonstrates high reliability, with no leakage from mechanical seals or joints. It fully satisfies the operational requirements of the desulfurization unit. The equipment design is both reasonable and cost-effective, making it a viable replacement for imported pumps. With broad application potential and strong economic benefits, this development marks a major step toward the complete localization of large-scale desulfurization slurry circulation pumps. The breakthrough not only overcomes key technical challenges but also establishes independent intellectual property rights. This achievement significantly contributes to the advancement of desulfurization technology in China. At the first scientific and technological work conference of Huadian Corporation, the company's efforts in localizing the flue gas desulfurization slurry pump were highly praised. Additionally, the optimization project of the gypsum dehydration system at the FGD plant won second and third prizes in scientific and technological progress. In 2005, Hangzhou HVDC Mid-Levels Power Co., Ltd. was honored as an "Advanced Science and Technology Management Collective" by Huadian Corporation, further highlighting its contributions to technological innovation and environmental protection.
