Chicago Still & Box 2-19-11

The Chicago Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at an industrial building located at 2823 W. Fulton Street on Saturday. According to initial reports, a power surge may have caused the building to fill with smoke, prompting emergency crews to arrive on scene. Due to the electrical hazard, firefighters were unable to enter the affected area until ComEd technicians could safely cut off the power supply.
