North Aurora is added to the site

The North Aurora Fire Protection District, part of MABAS Division 13 in Kane County, Illinois, operates with two fire stations. Station 1 serves as the main facility and is home to both of the department’s ambulance units, along with two fire engines, a tower ladder, and the battalion chief’s office. In addition, the station grounds include a second building that houses specialized teams such as the Technical Rescue Team (TRT) and a water rescue boat. The fire apparatus includes several units purchased from Pierce, including a 1986 Arrow engine, a 1996 Lance, a 2006 Dash, and a 2001 Dash tower ladder. Station 2, which has a more limited setup, only features two engines — one frontline and one reserve. The front-line engine at Station 2 is an E-ONE unit. Photos provided by Bill Friedrich and Larry Shapiro capture the scene at the district’s facilities. One image shows TRT equipment, while another highlights the team’s readiness and professionalism. These visuals give a glimpse into the daily operations and dedication of the North Aurora Fire Protection District, showcasing their commitment to public safety and emergency response.
