North Aurora is added to the site

The North Aurora Fire Protection District, part of MABAS Division 13 in Kane County, operates with two fire stations. Station 1 is the main facility and houses both of the department’s ambulances, a battalion chief, two engine companies, and a tower ladder. It also includes a secondary building on the property that accommodates special response teams, including several Tactical Response Team (TRT) units and a water rescue boat. The station's fire apparatus is primarily sourced from Pierce, featuring a 1986 Arrow engine, a 1996 Lance, a 2006 Dash, and a 2001 Dash tower ladder. The front-line engine at Station 2, however, is an E-ONE. Station 2 only has two engine companies—one as a front-line unit and the other as a reserve. This station does not house any ambulances or additional specialized equipment. The fire department relies heavily on its well-maintained fleet and trained personnel to serve the community effectively. Photos provided by Bill Friedrich and Larry Shapiro capture the facilities and equipment in action. These images highlight the professionalism and preparedness of the North Aurora Fire Protection District.
