Dalian Petrochemical New Air Separation Device Drives Successfully

The new air separation plant of Dalian Petrochemical Company was successful in its drive once in a single day, yielding qualified nitrogen products. The device is an important supporting device for the construction of the Dalian Petrochemical 20 million-ton/year refining base.

The newly-built KDON-3750Y/8000 air separation unit has a designed production capacity of 8,000 Nm3/h for nitrogen, 3,000 m3/h for liquid oxygen, and 640 Nm3/h for liquid nitrogen. After the project is completed and put into production, the company's total nitrogen supply capacity will reach 13,000 standard cubic meters per hour, forming a unified low-pressure nitrogen pipe network system with a pressure rating of 0.6 megapascals.
