Fire engine and Steam Locomotive unite

Hi there, Just got this interesting message from Scott Peterson. He spotted something really cool driving through Hebron, Illinois. Apparently, it’s an old rig that was purchased from a firefighter in Skokie. Doug Reno seems to have been involved in acquiring it. This weekend, and the following two, it’ll be at the Illinois Railway Museum. The rig is used to fill up the steam engine called *The Leviathan*. On the driver’s side, they’ve got some custom piping set up for a quick-fill system to top off the rig’s tank. The rig itself is in great condition. It’s got that classic look and carries WLF, which probably means it’s one of those vintage firefighting vehicles. I’m guessing it’s the 1975 Ward LaFrance Ambassador engine from Wadsworth, Ohio.
